You know, on Earth we frequently advise people not to feed wild animals. It makes them accustomed to humans, you see. In particular it makes them expect that if they hang around humans they will get food. When it's something small and cute, this is mainly a problem for the animal, since it will stop foraging in favor of following people, and if those people don't feed it, it won't get food at all. But when it's something that can prey on you . . . then you've got a problem.
I know things are different in Equestria. I know ponies tend to care for the animals and don't expect them to be able to take care of themselves. But I still think you could learn something by considering how we do it on Earth.

Consider this, AJ: You probably want that changeling to find you so you can do more of the kissings, even if you won't admit it. But can you really distinguish between changelings? If a changeling come up to you and claims to be the one you kissed, would you know if it was lying?
