well as much as I really don't enjoy the feeling of having villians rule over us, I gotta say............... I actually like this, well yes, heystill feed off of love by unwilling ponies, but then again, they seem to be nice and even tend to the ponies' aids, interesting

Actually, a guy came to our school once to teach us some self defense.
He told us the steps - looking around is one of the most important ones!
If you manage to get free from the attacker's grasp and escape, it's surprisingy likely that you'll run into a wall. Because you're in a shocked state, and when you're panicking your first and only thought is: "RUN! Get outta here! Anywhere but here" and yes, your frightened brain won't notice the wall until you bump into it...
You have to calm down for a few seconds (you should hit - headbutt - the attacker's nose if you can, because 1. it hurts like hell 2. he will cry instinctively, and his vision will be all blurry - you can gain precious minutes to escape!) and think - try to find the best escaping route (like, don't jump from too high if you have a more safe option)

If that's true how did she take over canterlot in the first place the only reason discord was able to take over with out any real plan because well its discord you don't see any one trying to explain pinky pie do you. If she was not organized they would not have been able to fool Celestia let alone get as far as they did.

I like this plot point. Chrysalis can never truly win, victory defeats her.

Well, it is true that villains always lose in the end, but there are exceptions.
Usually when villain does not have pure selfish desire but a noble goal or good reason behind his actions, if villain do not want to hurt the heroes, he can win since in the end he/she will show mercy to the good guys and maybe even find a peaceful solution.
Chrysalis main goal was to feed her starving subjects, so it is fine that she was given victory. Now she have a chance to negotiate a peaceful solution of retreat and free her hostages.
I think Chrysalis end up as anty villain in this story, or she is just one of opposite sides, and since the autor cannot decide which side is right, the victory can go to one of them ( if Chrysalis lose, her subjects will starve, if she win, ponies will still be alive, so I think it is more fair trade to let Chrysalis win as long as she will play nice ).

I agree with you there.. There are some villains that have a good reason behind there actions but most villains don't and just want to rule a city or a country or the entire f***ing world. Take Megamind for example in the Movie our main villain Megamind was our main hero or character, which is unique and rare because most people's understanding about villains is that there always evil, greedy, possessive, easily fooled by stuff and always dark or out right selfish.. Basically I'm the type of guy how like to see villains win (not in real life) but in Movies, TV shows, Anime's and Cartoons because to me that will make a good storyline of how the Hero will find a way to defeat him/her.
Take for example:
The Master - from Doctor Who
Pain - from Naruto Shippuden
Goob Yagoobian - from Meet the Robinsons
Pitch Black - from Rise of the Guardians
Ice King - from Adventure Time (I think)
Heinz Doofenshmirtz - from Phineas and Ferb (at least sometimes)
Kite Tenjo - from Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal
Etc...
So as you can see there are villains like that, there just not many of them out there.. So If you really want to see a complex and actually sometimes heartbreaking villains then i suggest to you people watch either Anime or Live action TV shows. And if you want to watch funny but sometimes egotistical villains then watch either Cartoons or old Disney movies. The choice is you'res.

Well. As long as villain have other side of the story and a good reasoning behind his action or go down epicly instead of lossing because he got hit by a stupid ball, I am fine.
One of my favourite villains was Adachi from persona 4 the golden, I mean, this guy is so epic. One surface he is friendly and clumsy detective who spend time with you and your friends from time to time, tell rumour here and there, and inside he is a mastermind who is having a lot of fun while manipulating everyone.

In my personal headcanon, Changelings will imprison adult ponies in cocoons, where they are magically placed in suspended animation like in 'The Matrix' and forced to dream lovely dreams for which the Changelings feed on. The children of captured ponies are placed under the care of Changelings who have taken the form of their parents and raise them until they are old enough to have children of their own. Once that's done, they too are harvested and their children placed under new Changeling care.
Let's see if this Chrysalis is more lenient...

(ben 10 reference: the aspect of changelings is simmilar of the hybrids, they need survive and conquer everything... because the hybrids have the idea of only pure blood, causing a dna destruction, maybe is simmilar in this case)
