We did this shoot during sunrise timing at salt lake. Unfortunately, no sunrise instead we were shooting in 10 Degree with strong winds. Kudo to the awesome cosplayers who got to stand in the freezing weather.

Cool, I was about to ask if these were done in Colorado, some of the other shots looked like the Great Sand Dunes Natl Park. This shot blew that theory because of the huge lake (well, and you mentioned that it was Salt Lake)...Pretty awesome cosplay, nice to see the wind actually cooperated and you could pull off the "flowing fabric" effect from mange/anime.

Thanks for the kind comment, this shot was taken in China, one of the salt lake in Qinghai
It pretty cold standing in salt water + super windy morning with around <10 degree temperature, big kudo to the cosplayer.
