This reminds me of me and my boyfriend. I am Sinti (gypsy) and Filipino and he is Norwegian. He comes from a family of white supremacists so we get a lot of disapproval from his family. In fact they are threatening to disown him because he refuses to leave me, he loves me that much.
This should be a banner. Love shouldn't be limited due to the color of your skin, your age (though I dont condone pedophilia) or your gender. Love is love no mater whose hand you are holding.

Stay strong! They will eventually understand, and learn a lot from it. Things will get better, times have changed and are still changing.
About love, I truly believe that there is always a way to make things work, and it is worth the fight.

Oh it's perfectly fine, I've been off the face of the planet for a while.
It's down to the point where half my family hate him and half his family hates me. It's a improvement but not by much, his mom dispises my existence as my mom does his. We're willing to make things work though, they'll learn to accept us.
