Description It's all done in vectors. Of course, Picblab doesn't exist, and I just made up the name.

The bottom one needs to be recolored. I'll do it tomorrow.

If you want to keep the shadow, I recommend fixing the little bit of roughness at the far right of it. Maybe redo it so that it's flatter if it's supposed to represent a surface of some sort. I think with your skills you could design your own camera vector graphic. Even a simple rectangle with a circle in it can be a recognizable camera, and there's nothing wrong with minimalism.
Maybe incorporate the camera and the speech bubble so it's sort of a camera bubble?
On another note, are you planning on working colour into the logo? Even if you're trying to preserve the old-timey b&w feel, colour-tinted greys go a long way while still looking pretty monochrome. (For now I prefer the version on the dark background, as it feels like the logo was originally designed for black.)

Yeah, that bit to the right is kinda uneven.
I like the camera bubble idea, and I'll look into it.
Perhaps I'll add some color later on. I'm thinking orange or red; sounds good?
Again, thanks.

Nice logo. I like your aesthetic!

A few things, however...
The font is cool -- I don't know what it is (your own vector?) -- but one thing that bothers me is that the height of the "c" doesn't match up with the rest of the letters. It doesn't seem intentional either because it doesn't line up with anything, graphically (like the second-highest tier of the "b"). I would either match it to the rest of the letters, or match the rest of the lowercase letters to it. The font is also blocky, and doesn't mesh too well with the rounded graphic.
I would nix the swoosh under the speech bubble. It doesn't seem necessary and needs a little cleaning up anyway. With the camera vector, I would diminish the detail (maybe even substitute an entirely new graphic which can be more recognizable as a camera, with less detail) and enlarge it so that it takes up more space within the bubble.

That was a font I downloaded somewhere (it's based off of the digg.com logo). I'll fix it myself soon enough.
The reason for the blocky font was so that it would ooze geekiness. Come on, people that talk about pictures all day have got to be geeks, amirite? Perhaps I'll block-ify the speech bubble.
I did plan on originally tossing the shadow beneath the speech bubble, but if you look at that narrowing line coming down from it and then you look at the shadow, you'll see that it gives the bubble a bit of a 3D feel.
I didn't like the camera either. I couldn't find a better stock image anywhere, and I can't seem to be able to posterize it anymore without totally ruining its resemblance to a camera. Got any tips?

Thanks for the critique. If you plan on doing being a critic, you might want to check out #UnCritic for the official-looking template.

Sounds like it'd be a photo sharing chat site. I'd join that place for sure! X3
