Description
In lieu of the Yowa Bridge Incident, the Office of Emergency Management along with the Federal Disaster Response Agency, Republic of Pinesdor Army Civil Guards 33rd Combat Engineering Battalion, and NFD Special Operations Command - Scuba and Water Rescue Battalion conducted a Deployable Bridge Exercise at Hardrock. This exercise is conducted in response to the recent Yowa Bridge incident and after the Department of Science and Technology released and information bulletin that Bridges located around Pinesdor are prone to collapse if a Magnitude 7.7 Earthquake strikes. The government wanted to reinforce its response involving collapse bridges and to implement new ways and operating procedure when dealing with such incidents.

Due to this exercise, some parts of Hardrock Boulevard were shut down to give way during the conduct of the said exercise.
