Barrel iOS icon made in Inkscape. It was fun.Included are PNG icons of size 1024 / 512 / 256 / 128 / 64 / 32 px,
Source Inkscape SVG file, preview Gimp XCF file. Enjoy ...
Still need to practice more. Many details aren't as I thought.
Next time I will try some tutorial or maybe I need to try Adobe
Illustrator. Hmm, What do you think?

That's brilliant work. So much texture and detail.
I actually used Illustrator in my work place before I started using Inkscape for home use. I much preferred Inkscape at the time. I believe Illustrator has changed since then and adopted features I had noted Inkscape had that Illustrator did not--such as large handles for selecting nodes.

Yes, I would recommend trying Adobe Illustrator if you're a PS kind of guy, but I definitely like to stick with Gimp which I've heard works better with Inkscape.
