Description
== INFO ==[link]
A mandelbrot set made in Flash with AS3.
I calculated the size of this mandelbrot set... if you count the fully in-zoomed picture as 10.5 x 10.5 cm (the size it is on the screen), the whole out-zoomed picture would be 5.46 x 5.46 lightyears.
== INSTRUCTIONS ==
ZOOMING:
Click and drag. You will be zoomed into the square that you draw.
To go back a step, remove the last 3 chars from the code and reload it.
If you draw a square larger than the flash window, you will zoom out.
-----
Restart: start over from the beginning
Save: save the current view
Load: load your saved view
Depth of detail: low number=fewer details as you zoom in, but faster. high numer=more details as you zoom in, but slower.
Redraw: redraw the view you are viewing. For example after changing the depth.
Left text field: shows the code for the current view.
Right text field: paste a code in here and press load to load a view
Copy: copy the code in the left text field to the clipboard.
-----
That's everything! Now enjoy zooming! Share your codes with each other!
I like this one: ϲѦұЀҝӬϲӀҩϰ
Load it and see what you think!

This is amazing. Really slow though on high depth values though.

those things are really fascinating. In my eyes you are a Genious. Programming such a generator is just amaziing work, i really hope you'll keep on

That's very cool! And yay for the mandelbrot set! And yay for being a maths student meaning I get to do some studying of fractals!

Yes that's because Flash can't handle too small decimals. If it could, then you could zoom in infinitly

it's not that fun when you can't zoom it in to infinity

It's still fun! I don't think any Mandelbrot generator can zoom in to infinity. This one can still zoom in as much as many mandelbrot-zoomings on youtube.
