This is really lovely to look at - the pose you've captured them in is obviously so natural and conveys their friendship in their mannerisms alone. The lights and darks of their silk costumes is a great contrast against the plain and grainy background ^_^

Hey, thanks so much. I was so happy I got this shot as I only got a second or two to snap shots at the parade from that vantage point. I thought it was really neat that one of them was looking up too. Shots like this don't come often. Espically since I just about never take artistic shots of people cept for situations like this.
I actually add a bit of additional grain to the picture. It sort of gave it more of the animated feel. As I was posting it sort of reminded me of your work.

I took this picture from a raised pedestrian walkway. It was one of the best vantage points to see that parade but the cops were making sure everyone used it as a walkway. So I actually took this shot as I was moving. I'm happy it came out so nice, a though I needed to crop. I forgot who those people are supposed to be, they represented a specific local culture within southern China. Forgot who exactly.
