Has anyone watched the new Anime series, Blue Eye Samurai, on NETFLIX? I did, and was incredible, a mix of fiction with historic perspective. It did happen on that time; the Tokugawa Shogunate close Japan from the World in 1633, but they allowed some European presence, although limited, in southern Japan. It was the Dutch East Company; whatever information that they got from the Europeans, it came from that place, especially in the fields of medicine; languages; economy; and education.

Here, Anne Boonchuy listens to a Japanese exchange student, Akemi, Itoh, from the Itoh Clan, explaining everything about the history of Ancient Japan, to be precise, the era of the Feudal Wars, or Warring States, that lasted from the 12th century, until the 17th century. She got freaked up when Akemi explained about sexuality at that time. She has no idea about what she will hear next.

Also, both are voiced by actress and voice actor, Brenda Song.
