I get the feeling that if I don't draw these weird things when they come to me then not only will my skills suffer but I'll end up feeling "stuck" in whatever it is I AM trying to focus on and my work will just suffer anyway, so why NOT just do (if only so I can stop thinking about it)?

Too bad that SCOOB movie is postponed to before 2020 ends (date TBA) due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic that caused the movie theatres and movie theatre chains to close until COVID-19 subsides (It was planned for May 2020 release - I was hoping it would go instead to digital streaming/VOD instead of movie theatres because of this, but Warner Bros. couldn't - same goes for also postponed from June 2020 release In The Heights and postponed from June 5, 2020 release to August 2020 release the most hyped Wonder Woman 1984 movie).

I have a couple of questions.
First off, would you include any siblings for any of the characters? I've always had a soft spot for Shaggy's "Pup" sister and his relationship with her.
Second, would there be any "Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane" events? Like there's a rumor that the crime du story is caused by a cursed phantom and the gang proves that it was all just a hoax but in the final minutes, the audience but not the characters see a ghostly figure that fades away as the episode closes.
Third, stemming from the above, would this be a completely mundane universe where nothing supernatural exists or would there be something to the idea that there's a supernatural explanation?

First two questions: Yes.
I actually had no idea Shaggy had a sister; I've seen Pup but neither of the episodes with her in them.
Besides that, the wiki (since of course I had to check 
...in theΒ Scrappy-Doo series.
Yeah...you can probably guess why I missed THAT one.
As for question three, I'm leaned towards the latter, but usually whether or not something was truly fantastic will
be left as a lingering question: Fred will always opt for the fantastic possibility, whereafter Velma will provide the scientific alternative.Β
Of course, they'll also be cases where something was obviously just humans playing a scam, as well as OTHER cases that...
well, let's just say they might have Velma very much in denial as to what "may-or-may-not" have actually occurred.

Technically fans also place her as Maggie from the more recent movie era. Her nickname "Suggy" (pronounced like "sugar") could even be something that was Shaggy's idea and while she dropped it as she got older, she still liked having a nickname like his. So you could split the difference and just design your own version of Maggie Rogers.
On the note of Scrappy, he doesn't bug me as much as he does other people though I understand why he gets tiresome. He's a character whose concept could have worked but wasn't executed well.
Velma the skeptic does make sense.
