In case you were wondering: Yes, I do worry that one of these days Cyberchase is going to release an episode that totally wrecks my canon for this comic.The amount of time between seasons got simply ridiculous and after a certain point I was SURE the show had been cancelled and that's a big part of the reason I felt ready to DO Twisted Space in the first place since it's actually my way of "wrapping up" the Cyberchase universe for personal closure (and no, that's not a spoiler; pretty sure I mentioned that at some point...I think).
)So far there's been no problem at all - just the opposite, in fact; I've been able to get new ideas to gently knead into the fabric of my story along with great, high-quality screen caps of characters and locations to use as reference to increasingly refine my imitation of the show's aesthetic.
...but it's ALWAYS there...at the BACK of my mind...the FEAR that one day...ONE DAY...
"...Wow, you guys! I can't believe that Motherboard was actually [some silly thing that shatters my precious head-canon and pretty much destroys the rest of my story] the WHOLE time!"
...
...and I'm like:
Oh, well - that's the life of all fans, I guess.

I think they keep it mostly for it's versatility; because of the nature of the show they can easily make/re-purpose a cybersite to address pretty much any science/subject/culture they want.
They probably won't cancel it until something happens to Christopher Lloyd - and NO ONE wants that.

Like me, Creech is a "cute-a-holic" and Delete is too adorable for her NOT to protect him, but's it's more like a big sister/mama-bear type thing.

Honestly, I'd never even considered a romantic interest for Delete until you introduced me to Shift; I think she's just so perfectly matched to him and I'm incredibly grateful you let me add her into the story!
I've no control over whether the show tries to shoehorn someone in for him to blush over at the last minute but even if they do I'm gonna stick with the story I've decided to tell, IN which Delete and Shift are my OTP.

I must congratulate you on doing a great job with Delete's redemption with him being cute. I've seen some good redemptions for him but a lot of them run more on him being logical (ALA "Yes Buzz and I jumped ship; Hacker's gone insane!" or "Oh; real nice, Digit. You were in my position at one point and at least I have a reason for the good guys to trust me.") rather than just being himself.
Also Creech deserves that crown of hers!

Indeed.
The first one I mentioned is from a series that ended on a cliffhanger before it went dead but it's an optimistic one that can be summed up as "So Cyberspace and Earth are on the brink of war, we all need therapy and we still don't know if we can prevent the bad future we saw in that other world. But Inez is back, Matt is no longer depressed and we have time to prepare for the war and the reveal. So we'll take the future as it comes". Basically Hacker ends up going completely crazy while the kids have to deal with new human allies Motherboard recruited after Hacker kidnapped the original Squad, with other misadventures both proceeding and following (Which includes Matt being turned into a mouse, an event he never lives down much to his annoyance). Ultimately Buzz realizes Hacker's too far gone and books it with Delete; given that Hacker ends up committing suicide in front of a kidnapped Inez, Buzz is not wrong.
The second is from a mega crossover called "Once and For All" where the characters from Wordgirl, Cyberchase and Arthur all live in the same world; Hacker ends up figuring out Wordgirl's real identity right around the time she, as Becky, and Fern start dating (yes that's a weird ship but it's done tastefully and is very adorable) so he kidnaps Fern so he can blackmail both Becky and the Squad. Delete starts getting cold feet about the plan when he starts to feel sorry for Fern and when he finds out Hacker intends to torture her to death, helps her escape. Digit naturally is suspicious of Delete because of what happened every previous time he claimed to be switching sides but Delete rebuttals by pointing out A) Digit was once in his shoes and B) "I couldn't stomach helping someone who would hurt a kid like Hacker intended to." is a much more convincing "I've changed." argument than "I don't wanna make chaos anymore."
