Now I can say I drew something for Valentine's day since I never finished my last attempt at a holiday drawing (for thanksgiving).

...So I've finally thought of a name for Jack's girlfriend (and because I know a few women with this name, the more I've thought about it, the better it sounds - Thank you, my dear friend, Mrs. Merlin Rainwater for inspiring me!). Say hello to Merlin Devereux (pronounced Dever-o). Yep.

Since Jack Candle is considerably shorter (5'4" - shorter than even the average man) than Merlin (5'10" - taller than the average woman and in shoes with thick heels, she looks like an amazon compared to him), Jack levitates so that he makes himself taller than her so that he can have the experience of kissing a woman who is shorter and she can have the experience of kissing a man who is much taller than her. Hee, he's just silly and terribly romantic in a corny sort of way.

Merlin reminds him that she loves him just the way he is no matter what gossips say about their differences... but for the sake of a memorable experience, she allows it JUST this once...
