Description

Hours upon hours of continuous drawing made my borderline carpel tunnel flare up and my hand crapped out. It took several days to recover before my fingers stopped tingling and regained sensation. I’m a fan of traditional art, so it was first sketched out in pencil, inked, colored in copic markers, and additional details/textures were finished out with prisma color pencils and a final blending pencil. A few touch-ups were made in Photoshop. I haven’t done anything this detailed in quite a long time and despite the pain it put me through, it was totally worth it to put a smile on your awesome faces.

This group is of all the kids of the main characters in my fanfic “Integration” posing for a photo (there’s a lot of ‘bunny ears’ being thrown around). This group photo takes place in a much later part of my epic story, which I’ve decided to make into a trilogy and this occurs in the last part (book three), so I’ll be sure to include everyone’s ages as well.

From left to right, I’ll indentify each of them starting with the offspring of the Lipsky family- that’s Dr. Drakken aka Drew Theodore P. Lipsky and his lovely wife Shego. …and then of course there’s the one odd tan girl with blond hair peeking out from under Seth’s arm, who I’ve never showed or mentioned to anyone until today (she’s been my best kept secret for the past year)….

First person on the left with the blue eyes, maroon hoodie, and orange/copper colored wrist watch is Seth Lipsky, the fraternal twin of his brother Dante Lipsky, that fine looking green skinned chap with the goatee. Both Dante and Seth are 27 years old. Dante’s throwing bunny ears behind the head of his younger brother Cameron Lipsky, who has his fraternal twin Devin Lipsky in a partial headlock. Cameron and Devin are 18 years old. As you can see, Devin is a spitting image of his old man, minus the mono-brow because seriously, the only one who can manage to make a mono brow look sexy is Dr. D.

Devin has also inherited his father’s plant power, which also makes his head hair grow faster than normal so he keeps it long because trying to manage a short hairstyle when it grows like a weed is a pain in the arse, so he just sports his father’s mullet. Not many people can pull off a mullet and look good, but the Lipskies are those rare few who do. Anyone who teases Shego’s hubby and kids earns them the death glare and a threat of bodily arm. Never take Shego’s threats lightly because she’s crazy enough to do it.

The young blond (if you haven’t already guessed who she resembles) is Dr. Drakken’s second cousin, who is the daughter of Ed Lipsky aka Motor Ed (as you may know, Ed is Drakken's first cousin). Ed loves cars and bikes and pretty much anything that has an engine. So, naturally he named her after his favorite motor cycle: Harley Davidson Lipsky. She’s the youngest in the group at the age of 15.

Mama Lipksy (Dr. D’s mother) ended up having to take custody of Harley when Motor Ed was deemed unfit to keep her and he wound up in prison again for grand theft auto and violation of parole. Mama Lipsky loves her niece Harley (she’s a sweet girl despite having an irresponsible father and a mother who abandoned her at a very young age). As Mama Lipsky is getting more feeble with age, she worries about not being able to properly care for Harley and also realized that Harley was lonely and needed to be around kids her own age that she could relate to and get along with. Mama Lipsky is determined to prevent Harley from becoming a delinquent like her father, Ed. So, Mrs. Lipsky asked her beloved son Drew and daughter-in-law, Shego, to officially adopt Harley. Of course, the couple agree and for Shego, it’s nice to have another lady in the house since she's usually outnumbered and surrounded by boys much of the time. Shego’s always wanted a daughter and Harley is as close to one she’ll ever have. Harley no longer feels like an only child anymore and loves Dante, Seth, Cameron, and Devin and all the friends she’s obtained through them. She fits right in with the ragtag group you see in this drawing. They all get along like peas and carrots!

Morgan, the red headed, freckled, tomboy in the yellow and white baseball tee, is the daughter of Duncan Douglas (big brother to Dexter Douglas aka Freakazoid). Morgan’s 19 years old.

Of course, the most recognizable people in the entire group that I’ve drawn more than anyone else is Frankie Zoid, the son of Freakazoid and Freakazette, my OC Erie (Lindemann) Zoid. Frankie is 17 years old and has his arm around his blue haired pyro BFF/boyfriend, Vance McCartney. Vance is also 17 years old and is only a handful of months younger than Frankie.

The tall blue skinned young man standing in the background is Aaron Mumphries, who at one point was quite average in size till he hit his first big growth spurt and BOOM, towered over everyone except his father. Aaron is 24 years old and the eldest son of Royce Mumphries aka Cave Guy and Audrey (Manatee) Mumphries aka Cobra Queen. Aaron looks a great deal like his old man and is just a few inches shy of his father’s 7 foot height. He’s also inherited his father’s Hulk-like invulnerability and super strength. To those of you who may not know much about it, in my story, I've made Dr. Drakken and Cave Guy first cousins, so that technically makes Aaron and Damien his second cousins... It may sound weird, but it really works out!

The next good looking fella with the long hair and blue-green skin is Aaron’s little brother, Damien Mumphries, who possesses some super strength and his mother’s snake-like appearance/powers. Damien is 17 years old and only a month older than Frankie.

Last of all, the green skinned monkey boy is Sahn Fiske, the joker of the group. He’s the son of Monkey Fist aka Lord Monty Fiske and Amy Hall aka DNAmy. Now, before you start going “WTF, I thought Monty Fiske was turned to stone?!” Yes, Monty was turned to stone and yes he strongly dislikes DNAmy and has always rebuked her advances. Monty is well aware of the fact that DNAmy has the hots for him and avoided her like the plague. I repeat, Monty has absolutely NO romantic attraction to her what-so-ever, but that never stopped Amy from getting what she wanted and ‘forcing’ the situation. She’s a stubborn woman and very determined.

Well, here’s the short version on Sahn’s backstory. Immediately after the end of Kim Possible, I figured that Global Justice takes the petrified Monty into custody and use a silly device once owned by Waylon Jeepers (he’s a villain in the Freakazoid! Cartoon). The device is called a gorgon watch, which has the ability to turn beavers into gold and pidgeons, people, and other things into stone. In season two of Freakazoid!, episode “Statuesque”, Freakazoid’s girlfriend Steff was turned into stone and at the end of the episode, Freak and Cosgrove were able to reverse the effects of the stone magic to restore her to life. I figured that when Global Justice got ahold of the watch, that’s how they were able to return Monty Fiske to life ‘cuz ya know, my story is a crossover with cartoons Kim Possible and Freakazoid!, so I pick these things up to make them work!! MWAHAHAHA!!

If you haven’t seen Freakazoid!, then you should. I LOVE it!!

Anyway, back to Sahn… DNAmy is a extremely talented biogeneticist who worked with Monty Fiske in the past and was responsible for mutating him into the simian Monkey Fist you know and love. I just sort of ran with that idea a bit further and decided that as time passed, the mutation progressed to make Monty completely simian instead of just his hands and feet, which resulted with him growing a prehensile tail, kind of like a spider monkey.

DNAMY fell head over heels in love with Monty and is obsessed with monkeys and such… I figured at some point when she was working on Monty while he was unconscious to undergo the procedure of becoming a monkey man, Amy managed to obtain a bit of his, er, -cough-, genetic material-cough-semen-cough-… Later on, I figured she decides to grow a test tube baby using Monty’s genetic material and combining that with one of her viable ovum and produced a son, who she named Sahn (despite how screwy she is, she is also very motherly and her biological clock was ticking and didn’t want to put herself through the messy process of getting pregnant and carrying a baby for 9 months). My idea is that perhaps she hoped that in making a son, that Monty might be more willing to accept her. She figured that if she couldn’t have Monty, at least she had a child produced from them to fulfill her desire to become a mother. …alas, even with a baby, Monty was repulsed by what Amy had done to him against his will to produce a child and rejected her and their infant son. Eventually, Amy Hall / DNAmy realizes her error, but that doesn’t deter her in providing for her son and being a good mother.

The fact that Sahn looks like Beast Boy from the Teen Titans comic/cartoon is intentional. Amy likes creating weird creatures and her love of monkeys, comic books, and sci-fi, made her want to try creating a child who resembled the comic book character. She’s a nerd at heart, people… It’s really not that much of a stretch of the imagination she’d do something like this considering all the other creatures she’s created in the Kim Possible series. So, green monkey kid!! YAY!

Eventually, I figure that at some point in my story, Amy runs off and falls in love with the filthy rich biogeneticist, Dr. Mystico, a character from the Freakazoid! Cartoon as seen in season 2, episode “The island of Dr. Mystico”. Dr. Mystico is so much like Amy it’s creepy because he also likes monkeys and had a whole mass of genetically modified Orangumen (a cross between a human and an orangutan). It was a match made in heaven and Dr. Mystico whisks Amy away to his private island where they are wed and live out the rest of their days in happiness and dream of eventually taking over Cleveland or something like that… heh. Anyway, I figured that Sahn wasn’t thrilled with his mother’s choice in who she wished to marry, but was helpless to prevent it. He hated Dr. Mystico and as a young boy ran away to find his father Monty Fiske, who works as an agent of Global Justice.

Monty resists Sahn’s attempts to get to know him at first because of his resentment toward Amy. Sahn is so much like his mother in the sense that he’s a huge nerd, a total goofball, hyper as all get out, and just so full of energy that the kid sheds the light Monty hadn’t realized he’d been missing from his life. Needless to say, Sahn’s persistence quickly breaks through Monty’s cold exterior and opens his heart and the two quickly form a strong bond. Sahn loves the father he’s never met because his mother Amy never spoke poorly of him, so Sahn always had a heroic image of his father, Lord Monty Fiske, in his mind. When Monty notices how much Sahn wants to be in his life, he decides to do the right thing and lets go of his resentment of Amy because he can’t blame Sahn for his mother’s actions. It’s not like the kid asked to be born and he can’t change that. To make a long story short, Monty decides to give it his all and be the best damn father he can be and it ends up working out!
