It's a day late, but THIS is my contribution to Thanksgiving!

This pic is based on a future scene in my Kim Possible / Freakazoid! crossover fic "Drakken's Memoir", which precedes my other fic "Integration"... If you're new to this, Professor Roland Heiney is from the Freakazoid! cartoon and as you can see, there's Drakken's Mother Mrs. Lipsky, Drakken, and Shego (who's already engaged to Drakken at this point). Knowing the Professor doesn't have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving, Drakken invites him to join him and Shego to have Thanksgiving at his mother's. Mother, who has been a widow since her son was a child, is enamored with her unexpected guest and well.. widowed lonely elderly lady meets a single elderly never married foreign Professor equates to the lady being a shameless flirt... The Professor isn't used to being flirted with ^_^;; and Drakken, also known as Drew Theodore P. Lipsky (Mom calls him "Drewbie" in the cartoon so I'm sticking with the nickname), is embarrassed that his mother is openly flirting with his best friend. Naturally, Shego finds this turn of events hilarious because at least she and Drakken aren't being pestered (for now) about when they're going to set a date for their wedding or if they plan on giving her any grandchildren.

I know I've established that Drakken's family and the Professor are both Jewish, so I just wanted to clarify that Jewish Americans have absorbed the Thanksgiving holiday into their traditions. Also, Drakken's family isn't overly strict in observing their traditions as it was done in Mrs. Lipsky's generation. Much to his Mother's disapproval, Drakken doesn't practice his religion anymore, but has retained certain traditions for her sake like joining her during Passover and a few other holidays to honor his late father's memory. Lately, Drakken has gotten back into practicing other traditions as a way of also respecting his and the Professor's shared heritage.

From a squeaky chair in Seattle, where insanity meets the sea, this is me, commanding you to enjoy this doodle!
