A picture inspired by the fact that Pikachu is NOT the cutest damn thing on earth >=U Everywhere I go Pikachu this and that. I mean I know Digimon is not as well known as Pokemon but that is because Pokemon has Nintendo who is a very wealthy company to heavily market/advertise them.
But anyways... The way I prefer to draw Chibimon With a full body because In his original design I don't know how the hell he balances with that huge head of his.
He is actually not that different to draw from pikachu. But yeah Practicing new coloring styles and what not.

Yeah, I must admit I screwed up big time with this pic. I usually draw little lines to represent cheeks but
1) I didn't curve them in this pic
and 2) I over exaggerated how far they should stretch out. When I draw eyes in some of my pics sometimes the eyebrow will go over the headband or the bottom or top part of the eye will extend passed the face.
X__x it's a weird style I randomly picked up out of nowhere and I am aware it didn't really work here. At the same time it was more of just coloring practice so I wasn't really too concerned of how correct it looked. I didn't know the picture would get this much attention seeing how I don't have many watchers or activity on my account.

Yeap, it is. In my honest opinion The first and second seasons are the only seasons I can say the dub was actually good or tolerable. I still prefer Subs the most tho.

that is a list on where to find subs for each season. Saver's Dub (Data Squad) was absolutely terrible compared to the original Flat out. If you haven't seen that season yet I would really recommend SUBS.

Yeah, practicing coloring with highlights instead of just darker and darker upon darker shades. I lol-ed so hard when I read your journal about your pictures looking too dark. I thought the same about mine so now I am trying to work with highlights and somewhat proper lighting and stuff. Haven't gotten to the proper lighting yet but hey, one step at a time right? I miss you <3 come home...? or back to see us soon.

Yeah I'm coming home for Christmas, trying to sell Rhino so I have more money. I wuv 'em to death, but I don't treat 'em like you treat your bike. He's like a daily driver for me and that kinda makes me sad, so I'm selling him to a real Jeeper. Maybe I'll get one when I have a lot more time on my hands. The coloring is really good BTW, the tones give it a more 'adorable' appearance.

That is just how I as an artist developing my OWN art style puts Emphases on cheeks... When you learn to draw period, you can draw whatever you want however you want. Until then for future reference don't open your mouth about someone's style until you have first looked through their gallery and attempted to take note of their style. Thank you.

If I can kindly interject something, I'd like to add my two cents on the debate, not for the sake of white knighting or because *veemon-tamer is a friend of mine irl. I know this response seems a bit late as this argument may (or may not) be resolved, but I think the point that she is trying to make is that she is doing the artwork differently to develop her own style, and doing something differently doesn't always mean it's done wrong. If we make something detail for detail in someone else's style, we wouldn't develop a style of our own. I know because I started out doing Sonic fan art from age 6 up until about age 21, and during that time I've been branching out to make a style of my own. I'm not quite there yet, but I'm getting there, and I wouldn't be able to do that if I emulated everything I was inspired by detail for detail. In short, everyone is their own person, not a copy of another individual. It's for that reason that they should learn from others, but shouldn't try being just like someone else.
