What a lovely rendition of the loading screen!
And I think the dim light coming from the torches really captures that "darkness even in light" kind of mood of this scene.

I love it how everyone considers Daniel an idiot, and still we have to like him no matter what, since he is the character we are playing and associating ourselves with (or at least the character we have to care about in order not to get killed).

Well personally I don't think he is a natural fool, it's just that the circumstances force him into such a state of mind that he is less alert and more trusting than he strictly should be (and would be, if it wasn't for his mental instability).

He didn't look like having a red coat in that one loading screen, more like a cape or cloak or something, so I tried that instead <:3
And honestly if some old dude brought me down to the basement with no light and cold and told me there's a -good reason- for the darkness and not explain with even a single word being all cryptic about it, I'd probably derp ask him too >.>
