popthe sound they make
while making me numb
while making me feel
pop, pop, pop, pop, pop
Mixing
but never matching
I feel incredibly cold
covered in goosebumps
my throat burns
blurry vision
Break them in half
choke another down
hoping for the next one
to fix something
to make up for losses
stomach full of them
weighing me down
filling my lungs
stuffed in my mouth
two give me control
one can take away reality
a dozen make it grow dim
never had twenty.
maybe tomorrow.

Love it!! I could really feel a cadence in this one which is different from what you usually do. It's nice. I swear..the lit in my Favorites consists almost entirely of your work, save but one I believe.

I disagree! I rarely feel my work is finished..but I'm always scared the more I do to it or work with it I'll lose some of its quality. I think most artists are like that.
