1/100 MG Wing Zero CustomGundam Wing was my first Gundam anime (I had like.. 14 years ??) and I loved it... that was until I watched the rest of the Gundam series some years later. Now I think that Wing is one of the worst Gundam stories. Before you start throwing stones at me remember thats what I think, you don't have to agree with me.
Anyway, I can hate the story but I really love mecha design, especially Deatscythe Hell and Wing Zero Custom. So I finally got one of them. I must say that I wash shoked when I finished it.... because it took me a little more then half day to finish it. I think that this kit have some thing they could improve but I still just LOVE the way it looks.

I got the MG XXXG-00W0 Wing Zero Custom last Thursday and it only took me 700mins(11hr 40mins) to build. Now the hard part is going to carefully disassemble and add the finer details like panel lines(I'm going to use the panel wash technic) and cleaning up any gate marks that I happened to miss while building.

Well, it's a kit from 2004 so it's not very complicated. You must watch out for the wings rubber feathers when you want to pose it cos they like to fall out. Also the left wing joint is bad in my model and can't hold the wing in some positions, it's just falling down. The worst part for this kit is that you can't put guns into he's hands as easily as in any other kit.. that is if you manage it to actually hold the guns anyway. His hands don't have that... I don't know how to call it in english...let's say that "sticking out piece of plastic" that's used to put guns and sabers in other models. So it's not only impossible for me to get his rifles in his hands but also when I wanted to pose it in his twin burst rifle position it was too difficult to make him hold two rifles with one hand. Maybe you will manage to do it, if you can then let me know how did you do it. Well there is other set of hands in (the gray ones, on photo I have standard white ones) but rifles don't have the holes in them so I can easily predict that thous hands can't hold it ether.
The last advice that I can give you, don't put a "Zero system" sticker on the left side of the cockpit, it looks ugly and you can't eaven read what it says when you put it there and also if you don't know too much (like me) about putting stickers on round surfaces then don't put "feather" sticker on his left shoulder.
I thinks that all I wanted to say XD Good luck and have fun with your kit... that reminds me, I never put Gundam kit as quick as this one so if you want to enjoy it then do it slowly

must say i do agree the story for wing was weak. but the way the mecha look is just amazing.
