Eight years, man. It's been eight years since all this madness began, and by god we're gonna keep powering on. Booyah!A note on this year's piece. After doodling I decided to put the boys in traditional Japanese clothing, save Son and Veg who wear the same dresses every year. Pic looked so epic just the way he was though, so he's just in a fundoshi ^_~
Pencil, pen. Colored version to be coming soon! These boys are Toriyama-sama's gifts to us all. Like Christmas!

This is so cool -- each character is easy to recognize and the little details -- like the Babar hat on Tien and the sock puppet on Chiotzu are precious. May I ask if there's a meaning behind "Da Game"? Just curious.

The Game is what we called the rp we started that year, and we've been calling it that ever since. The Babar hat and sock puppet are two of the things that show up in every year's picture ^_~ The other constants are the rose party hat, Krillan's jester hat and the dresses on Son and Veg.

What *might* look good is if you gave it a more sketchy quality and put it on a parchment background. Give it an aged look with a few sepia tones, like an old scroll. Then you could show it alongside the color version, wouldn't have to scrap it AND make me happy!

That would be just as good for me ^_~ Though in particular I got the outfits from a pic I passed of a bunch of guys who had to buy more traditional clothes to go to one of the summer festials, if I recall right.
