Since I was about to begin work on a custom Chrysalis with the same base, I was just wondering if you had any troubles with drilling the holes in her legs. And exactly what did you use for drilling them? I am sorry, but I just want to be cautious so that I don't ruin my Celestia and have to purchase another one.

I just used a regular drill and it wasn't very difficult.
Just make sure you use a drill bit with a pointed end to make it easier to drill through a curved surface. Otherwise, it'll be too easy for the drill to slide off. Also, for the half-holes on the sides, I just sort of drilled against the leg with an up-and-down motion until I got in deep enough.
