Well technically he's 5 years old which is around the human equivalent of 15-16

That makes sense. So if 5 years old is 15-16....
1 dragon year equals- 11/12 human years old
2 dragon years equals- 12/13 human years old
3 dragon years equals- 13/14 human years old
4 dragon years equals- 14/15 human years old
6 dragon years equals- 16/17 human years old
This is probably my guess, but I don't know the ratio of how many dragon years equals human years.

Well based on canonical evidence dragons around 1 year old act really young so I'd say more like (d=dragon's age, h=human equivalent)
1 d=6 h
2 d=10 h
3 d=12/13 h
4 d=14/15 h
5 d=15/16 h
6 d=16/17 h
7 d=17/18 h (canonical full grown dragon)
8 d=18 h
9 d= 18 h
10 d=19 h (canonical mentally mature dragon)
and then every year after is another additional few month equivalent

Okay then, thank you! I'll remember that every 1 dragon year equals 6 years. Then what about a dragon that are in there months. Would this mean that every 1 month dragon would be a 6 months old human baby then?

Well aging isn't linear like that, it speeds and slows down. You know how babies grow a whole bunch until they reach a certain age, then pretty fast still until teen years, then a little, then veeeery slowly til death? Dragons are probably like that. After a couple years their age slows drastically. At about 7 years old I think they only age by like 4/5 months

Understood. I just really wish that Tui. S Sutherland would've made hints on what probably the equaling age of dragons to humans would be, then it would be easier to understand how they think because of that age. I think the dragonets are like at least 17-19 human years old, because they aren't adults, they're almost like teenagers but close enmough to adulthood. I'd never understood Sunny being that age because she is so child-like, innocent and gullible, I thought she would be around 7-8 human years old. She just acts so young. She has to be at least younger than the dragonets to act so naive like that.
