Not really. This is a Signature Edition car.
Essentially, the concept is this: There's a Signature Edition driver, who is particularly skilled in the world of Motorsport. As a result, they have a Signature Edition car they modify, then name after themselves. Calypso is the name of the driver as well as the car.

I wouldn't think so. The thing about AI Racers is, the faster and more performance-based they are, the less room they have for stuff like a personality. On top of that, Calypso sees you as a rival more than anything.

To an extent. It delivers clean, fun racing action, even if it does start out slow. Though, when you're not racing, GT Sport doesn't feel like a racing game, and more like a photography/history class. I find this twist refreshing, but also incredibly disorienting at times. The rally racing is total crap, though.

Gran Turismo Sport is without a doubt, one of my top 10 favourite games of all time! The photo mode is one of the best parts of my favourite racing simulator, along with the stunning visuals, handling, sound design done 100% right, epic soundtrack and of course, how could I ever forget the livery editor? Speaking of which, have you tried the livery editor yet?
