They've got the same best friends and hate each other. Yes, that's a reason to ship them.
The funΒ thing aboutΒ writing a Rainbowcord fic is that the two of them would have to go a very long way to start having such feelings for one another.
That already asks for a long, well-thought-out story.
It's kind of like a challenge to write a good Rainbowcord fanfic, which is exactly what makes it fun to try!

Don't worry haven't offended at all. I can't explain it entirely but in my opinion, they are quite alike and also quite different. Rainbow Dash plays pranks on people, i can imagine Discord joining with her and causing some chaos but then again if he takes it too far she would nag at him to behave causing him to completely ignore her causing their differences to spark. I can't see them together really, i see them more as friends , this picture was made mostly out of boredom. Also it's a unnatural and mysterious ship, who knows how they might be?

I don't ship them, but the idea of Dashie acting "tsundere" and shy at Discord is cute to me.

I like the ship , yes. But it could never take the place of Discolight. I just joined the rainbowcord group and it didnt have alot of art so i wanted to contribute.
