Description
Sitting on top of the book pile has been one of the favorite places for our young cat. Wanted to capture his calm stature.Watercolor and Derwent Inktense color pencils.

Thank you. The cat was less than a year at the time of the painting, he's about two years old now. He is a domestic cat with a bit of Russian Blue.

I could look at this forever. The composition is beautiful, the colours are beautiful and your cat is beautiful. Watercolours are my favourite medium, especially when mixed, and to top it all I'm a consummate book lover. Basically,
