This reminds me of a more cult-y rendition of RVSB's Cruz del Sur music video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7PEFj… I really really love this artwork. It's absolutely stunning. The mirror effect is pulled of so with such effortlessness. You've really hit your stride again with this photo, but it's also a bit of a departure from your other work. It feels more crisp, and I like that. The amount of expression in he hands and arms is outstanding. Your intense conveyance of emotion without color or face is enviable. I would absolutely adore to hang this in my room. Over all, it's amazing. I want one.

I really do like this - but since you set this to critique requested....

I think that you should have made it a bit less symmetric - so that it appears like the hands actually belong to people on the other side of the obstruction. (No one has perfectly symmetric hands). Would also make it appear a bit more chaotic, thus more "scary", I guess. Or, maybe you meant it to be symmetric, idk. ))) Just my two cents anyways.

If you are the kind of person who fears hands reaching out from dark places and grabbing you then this may put you on edge
Woodlands have long been places steeped in folklore and legend and this can only add to that history

For some reason it makes me think of pagan rituals and the Teddy bears picnic song.
"If you go down to the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise.

You'd better go in disguise!"

I think the spookiest one is the one in the middle that seems to be truly reaching out from beyond the grave for something . . or someone. Great idea.

This is freaky!!!  Guess who may never go into the woods at night again??  Really cool, great concept!  I know you've been having a tough time lately, but I really like what you've been posting.  You have a unique way of viewing things and they make me look at things in a different way!
