I didn't put a lot of work into these two, just because its poor Ven ;w; He gets enough heck as it is! Having a nasty shard sticking out of his chest isn't fun to draw and can't be fun for him either

On that note, that shard that Clipse creates, it isn't to kill. If it gets into a Re Incartrum it instead takes over the mind and body. It forces the individual to become a sort of protector devoted to protecting that child. This is what Venex went through when the shard implanted into his chest. Also that stuff that is leaking from Venex's eyes and the wound? Not blood, he bleeds silver. No, that is a physical manifestation of the corruption Clipse was born from, its more like rot then anything. Its not nice stuff. Poor Venex was held at the whim of it.

Clipse at first was scared, then kinda excited about it. Sure, Venex didn't talk much, but he was always near. And when Clipse was in danger he'd defend him. Only...the guy who was talking so gently to him before the shard seemed nice! The way Venex dealt with people who threatened Clipse...it wasn't nice. Still, for the first time ever Clipse had a protector, who sometimes even showed kindness even through the corruption when things were quiet. However having a sharp object sticking out of your chest isn't a painless experience.
When he realised Venex was in a lot of pain poor Clipse realised how cruel it all was. He felt guilt that Venex had to go through this pain, and further realised how cruel it was to take away his control at all.

Finally the child decided he couldn't do this to Ven anymore. He was as close to anyone who had been kind before. He had grown to see him almost like a father figure, definitely a big brother, and he couldn't bare the fact he had caused such pain. So when they found a safe place Clipse removed the shard, and in tears ran away before Venex could regain control of himself.

Clipse if anything hid away more after that, scared what would happen if Ven found him again. Would he be mad? Would he try and hurt him now? Or would Clipse only hurt him again to? Clipse couldn't bare the answers to any of that, and things got worse for the child already struggling by.

Venex however, Venex continues to look for the child, and he isn't mad.

He can remember parts of his time corrupted and got to know the lonely child through that time. He remembers clearly when Clipse removed it, seeing the guilt and tears in his odd eyes. He knows the boy didn't do it on purpose. Doesn't mean he isn't careful and doesn't mean he isn't trying to find find out more about where he could have come from, but Venex worries about the child.

Someday he'll find him again though, and most importantly Rem will find Clipse to ^^
