I really wanted to paint the Starbucks siren mascot. I ended up just pushing through like 18+ hours yesteray on this and a few hours today to finish up. Roughly 20 hours of work with only one crash haha.This will be available on redbubble!

I dont really attribute the class to my growth. I hope that doesnt sound conceited or anything. The class was really really basic stuff. Like "this is what the multiply layer mode does, this is what darken does".... I dont think I learned very much from the class itself. I DO, however, think that the class put me into one of those stages where I became better and better at looking at art and the world around me. I had a big art block issue recently. I was absolutely depressed about it. I felt like nothing I did was good, and I hated all my work. But it was all because I could finally see flaws in it that I didnt before. So the class made me see art better, and then I figured out (really slowly in the most frustrating way ever) how to translate that into creating better art...
I still need to go over and switch off of that class lol. I have another one in mind that I think will teach me more.

Periods in which you feel the worst often can give you a huge kick under the bottom when you get out of them. It's great to have this improvement and fresh look (sort of speak) on your artwork.
