This new patch though....holy HELL o.O It's just a freakin' nightmare over here, atleast on my bf's end. He's a warrior and they just fucked them up hardcore. @__@ I feel so bad for him cuz he's spent so much on his poor toon. Mage's just got sick I hear though. I haven't actually logged in since the patch so I haven't checked out anything for myself yet.

oh im so glad you like it!! i actually did almost put her in red and gold... kind of a traditional idea for me, but i looked at it and said to myself "wtf...alexstrasza wannabe or what?" so i made her green...thinking of evil warlock colors... i also thought of violets, but those would have been way too dark. i needed a light color that i could make shadows on.
and yeah my bf plays a fury warrior too. and hes pissed with blizz. hes lost almost all hope for his warrior now and is just playing a ret pally. and worse, his deathknight... i was never a mage fan lol... but yeah they will always be op. darn mages.

Okay, I love the whispyness of the background and everything, it gives off a nice smokey feel. Love the green fire. Though I would say that you could have used a lighter dark when shading the feline thing, because with the smoke effect going on around him he sorta get misshapen and lost. i.e. above the left ear and the front paw above the knuckle.

actually, his background color is really light. i had to color him behind the linework because really the only color that shows on the animal is in very small dots. and i had to make him a light color with REALLY dark shadows for it to show up. and i kind of wanted him to be mishapen... hes made of shadow and smoke.... hes not supposed to really have a form.
