Description
Long story short: Earlier in the comic Team RNJR helped a village fend of some grimm. But they were verbally assaulted by the people because they had seen live feed of what happened in Vale and had closed of their gates to the outside world.

Later they were nearly killed by more grimm, forcing Team RNJR to save them again. Only this time, Ruby remembered what Ren had told her. A bird needs to break out of it's shell on it's own if it is ever going to have the chance to fly. So Ruby told the people that they need to open up or they will die alone. But it needs to be their choice, because no one is going to make it for them.
