Description Long Time no releases of Essentials DS! But finally i come with v2.0! The kit still may have bugs so just give me info anywhere, here or pm me with bugs. Here is change log.

Transfered base of engine to Essentials v15.1
When Pokemon Evolve now following sprite will refresh
Write a new choice selecting which works much better that old one, use $choice=true before show choice.
Edited selecting commands in PartyMenu to Hgss One credits to KleinStudio.
Multiple registered items like in Pokemon BWΒ  credits to KleinStudio. You still have two orginal registering items.
Rewrited menu with KleinStudio script from his starter kit. Menu works better right now.
Rewrited menu with buttons.
Fixed problem with opening Quests Scene
Fixed that menu was visible in credits scene.
Fixed Moving window after exiting from options.
Fixed buttons menu that text was not visible after exiting from button menu.
Fixed not working to enter scene in button menu.
Fixed that vs bar was not in middle of upper screen.
Fixed that Action buton was not visible after starting new game.
Fixed that acton was visible in scene credits.
Fixed that register buttons didnt disapear after deregistering them
Fixed descriptions and icons positions of items in mart.

It looks the same as the core Essentials pack. Most of the graphics look unchanged. Am I just not looking right?

Right dunno if you even look at this venom but first thanks for this, mainly for following pokemon that wanted to break on me, but i cannot change my player sprite... Can you explain how to? i tried it the normal essentials way by doing the editor.exe and metadata but nothing i'm just a shadow xD

I also had to just edit the "slpash" title screen cause it no longer worked switching to my title screen i made

Rafa's water bubbles script has a main bug that is unsolved (i've not found a solution yet): if you erase an event which is in the water tile (tagged for the bubbles), the graphic is still there without the animation.Β 

EDIT: Forget this, he solved it. Just Copy in the essentials the new script.

First off, congrats on the release. I see that you've done a lot of things with this.

I do have some issues though, mainly with the continuity of of your scripting. For example, what is the point of using my shiny new mouse script, but not using any of the shiny new features in it? You're making everything difficult for yourself by grabbing weird object coordinates manually, when you could just use the functions that I have in the script itself. The .over? method in my script is far superior to your .pbMouseOver? method as it grabs information and parameters on a per-object basis. It takes into account origin offsets, rect offsets, bitmap sizes and cuts, positioning, even offsets done to sprites by viewports...and all this is accessed by just $mouse.over?(object). It's much neater and easier to use. And for the interfaces, you'll be pretty much clicking on buttons only (which would be generated as sprites), so I don't see why you wouldn't use my methods, which would make it really easy on you. Think about that for the next potential release.

Another thing. This is an HG/SS styled system, and I really think that my EB and animated sprites look extremely out of place. First, the UI elements and the rest of the scene don't match design wise. Second if I want a gen5-like battle system, there are already two resources out there. Third, I really wanted to see proper gen 4 backsprites, and layout, with just the added DS functionality.

WASD movement. If you're going to make me click on stuff on the screen, I want to be able to move with the WASD keys. Speaking of clicking, the Running shoes toggle only toggles the shoes, not the actual running. There are several incomplete UIs that don't have any mouse input at all, as well. I was also expecting a custom title screen, or location windows. Shame they're not there

All in all, it's a decent kit. It definitely has a lot of things people would be looking for, but you still have some things to iron out.

It is made on pc using Rpg Maker XP you dont need any emulator just that program if you want to make game,

Hum... really? Because I wanted so make something in DPPt tiles style, but I thought I could settle for HGSS, being also from 4th gen. However, dual screen aside, all the tiles in this are obviously from 3th gen yet...
