Harnessing the power of Nether, an energy found in the darkness of the cosmos, they were able to travel through space and happen upon the planet where they took root and flourished into what is currently known in modern day language as Cryptids. They have evolved into the beasts known in these legends and continue to evolve to this day.

Vision - Lauru is a creature hailing from the darkest regions, meaning exposure to light is often painful, if not blinding to the eyes.
Germaphobic - In his Human form, Lauru is overly cautious about germs, going out of his way to conceal nearly every part of his body. He is not as afraid in Xeno form becuase of his Nether Seal.

Skills: Nether - It is a dark energy that Xenos manipulate in various ways, unique to the individual. Generation takes the form of a black aura with white trim. Nether can only be generated for excessive purposes for so long before the user becomes outright fatigued.

Offensive Skills
* Dark Matter - Lauru creates a large, durable orb of Nether which he uses as a cross between a volleyball, kickball and boomerang. Eventually the orb will shatter after being struck enough by either party.
* Nether Ray - He can create a concussive, projectile blast of Nether Energy which he fires from the palms of his hands. It does not project much larger than his hand.

Defensive Skills
* Nether Shield - His Nether can act as a shield around his entire body, allowing him defense against attacks without having to be properly equipped with weapons or armor. It can only take so many strikes before Lauru becomes vulnerable or he runs out of Nether to generate.

Passive Skills
* Physcially Fit - Lauru is athletic and always undergoing training his body. He has great strength, speed and endurance, making him quite formidable.
* Nether Seal - Creates a vaccuum seal around Lauru allowing him to live in almost any environment from deep sea to deep space. He cannot use this in Human form.
* Elusive - Much faster than his size lets on. Lauru is able to close a gap in the blink of an eye, or become nothing but an unfocused blur when escaping. However, this only works in short bursts, meaning its fight or flight for Lauru.

There is much to be said of Lauru, but only a few will stick around long enough to hear of it. Despite his history of secrecy, he does not miss the opportunity to make himself known. The young alien is the type to introduce himself to a campsite and then slaughter them to keep his secret safe. He always tries to keep himself in the limelight, reminding those of why it is his kind, him more so than the rest, who should be worshiped for bringing such wonderment to the world as they know it. It isn't uncommon for him to immerse himself into social activity as he is quite tolerant of many specie due to his lineage. However, the only beings capable of keeping his interest are those can can challenge his delusional superiority. More often than not it is through combat, now that survival has become less strenuous over the years he has lived on this world. He is a dedicated combatent and oddly enough fights quite fairly, though it is safe to say its overwhelming at times, especially for those who do not focus in this respective field. Lauru is not a bad guy, but good could not be farther from the truth. Lauru is who he is and those who do not accept that do not gain his favor. Those who do have received a most powerful ally that will not refrain from reminding them.

History:
Lauru's kind have been on this world longer than most scribes have ever been able to document. Even more so, than any sentient being has been able to date back. Living in all parts of the world, from the dark depths to the void of space, the Xenos have always prospered but remained alive due to one key trait. Secrecy. As the generations went on, that trait became vague, leading the Xenos to come out of hiding in hopes of more social understanding of the creatures they shared this world with. Sadly, people did not take to them as they had initially hoped, and were sent back into hiding. However, now they are being sought after. Day in and day out the people have come, desecrating their homes just for a simple photograph of the Xenos they have been told of since they were young.

Fast forward into the modern day. There is Lauru, a young Xeno who dares tread the boundary between legend and fact, sadly putting his kind in danger once again. But he does not go this path alone. Many of the Xenos his age have forgone secrecy, believing it to be just an old, vague teaching of their kind's survival. But in the new day, Lauru has seen that the people of the world, while still violent and ignorant, already accept that there are Xenos among them. Once again, sadly, they are often the crazies of the world. Lauru has spent his time making good on this knowledge, doing his best to learn of the world, but keeping himself out of reach just enough that he won't be at risk. He enjoys the notable obession these people have with his kind, and has been feeding off of their fanatcial worship for as long as he can remember. Lauru himself has traveled all around the world, visiting relatives and seeing how they've prospered in their time on the planet. Oddly enough, most do not retain the image they once kept, which is quite a fascinating discovery in the evolution of the Xenos.

Wishing to see more, Lauru was pointed in the direction of a mystical school which housed Xenos of old and new, creatures dating back as far as the scribes could write. It would be here that he would discover that there was far more to what he thought Xenos were and what they actually are. The fact being, that these creatures he thought were Xenos, were actually not.
