Description
These are the final sprites for Heartstring Bugs, an otome dating simulation. I forgot to upload the updated characters here. ^_^If you compare it to the old ones, some things are polished and cleaned up from colouring to some outlines.
Well, let's hope I can finish the other stuff soon!

Ah, the first CG the club CG for the cheerleading club with Tamera.
I'll try to help you get them all in one go.
Try to get into the cheerleading club with Tamera. After you get her CG, make sure you're not friends with anyone. Don't go to clubs, festivals, parties, and every time an event pops up, just stay home with Vi.
The last one is Vi's ending CG, where the MC ends up lonely.

Mhm! I loved Caius' route so much in Frozen Essence, i played through it 10 times and cried every single time at the good end where (Spoiler) Mina sacrifices herself to defend him (Spoiler end.) Β <3333 I seriously loved it, the storyline was amazing. I'm probably the only one who likes Caius more than Zareh haha *shot*.
And haha, i love that pun. "Chase Me" xDDDD. I just finished with Chase's ending and i really loved it! None of your characters are stereotypes, i expected Dimitri to be the cheerful nice-ish innocent guy and not perverted and flirty xD but it was pretty unexpected. I seriously LOVE how its over the span of 3 years, i mean in usual Visual Novels/Sims Β they fall in love over the span of 1 month which for me doesn't feel very deep. This is one of the only sim dates/vn's i've played where the time span feels and makes sense. It was awesome in the first year how i had to befriend Chase and then in the end of the second year we started dating~. And that plot twist about Chase, i seriously NEVER expected. I didn't even pick up on the hints, i thought he was just a weirdo calling people humans. When it was revealed i nearly fell off my chair xD. Oh god i just can't put into words how amazing your character development and storyline is! All the events were so entertaining and relative to the plot. I actually like every single character xD. But based on looks i guess i like Chase and Dimitri the best <3.Β
Seriously you have the most amazing ideas!! Your sprites have gotten much better from Frozen Essence, and i think your art has improved. I love depressing and angsty characters so i always go for the darker-looking ones first. (Caius and Chase). I can't wait till your new game!Β

I'm glad you got the pun too. Heartstring Bugs is really hard to write but I'm glad I tackled it.

Since Vi's ending is only possible if the mc is alone.

Hello, do you see her often? Avoid her as much as possible as seeing her in clubs, weekends, etc, do raise friendship. How far is her friendship bar at that ending you were trying to get?

I'm not sure what choices you chose when you tried going through the game, but you'll have to try to not be her friend, and avoid her as much as possible. Visiting her house and other do raise her friendship bit by bit. The friendship between you and her needs to be below half for Vi's ending.
If it's still too tough, I will think about a way to unbefriend her for a future update, although that might take a while since I don't have much time on my hands.

I can't even tell you how amazing this game was...it was a bit like living the high school life of drama and love that I'm missing out on right now, haha. Wonderful job with art and story, this is really a unique sim. One of, if not the best one I've ever played.

I just finished this game! It was great!
I played Frozen Essence a few years ago and went through all the paths. It's my most favorite game ever, and when I heard about your other projects, I was so excited! This one didn't have nearly as interesting a story as Frozen Essence, but I really enjoyed it and felt I could make the main character my own. I really enjoyed forming relationships with all the characters and each of them were unique and interesting. I spent most of my time with Huang and Alice (guess that's the kind of people I'm good with XD), but I really want to get to know the other characters better as well! Particularly Chase. I didn't care for him at first, but he's certainly got some interesting secrets that pique my interest. Can't wait to start playing Legend of the Piper Girl as well!

That's okay. Heartstring Bugs is in a different genre, with similarities only with the otome category, how it's displayed, and that I used the same engine for both. It's okay if you enjoyed Frozen Essence more, but I'm glad you still like Heartstring Bugs.
Frozen Essence fans may enjoy my next project...as soon as I can get a small break. I do miss writing visual novels. Simulations are hard. XD

That's what I really like about it. XD Mina's character from Frozen Essence was pretty defined, even though you could give her a different outcome. It's a lot easier to make Elly your own. XD
