the lighting is excellent and gives the photo a simplistic look even if the posture is a bit neglected I certainly look forward to viewing your future works. =3 FAV!!!

Thank you
Yeah it's a fairly spontaneous shot, so the composition is a bit off, but I'm glad you still like it

Thanks!
Yeah, I can see what you mean about the window. I wasn't really concentrating on the composition, just trying to capture the moment, so it is a bit off.
Thank you again

love the golden glow, + green/blue/pink pastel sort of effect on the window. (+ she is beautiful ) + love the composition, i like the slight angle of the window.

Thanks
Yeah that window had the best light falling through it, so I had to take some photos >.<
Not many of them worked out, this is one of the better ones.
I'm really happy with her as a model though, she said she really doesn't mind being photographed out of no-where (which is what I was doing throughout the day...)
The composition is a bit off though (imo)... I wish I could've fit more into the shot.
But thanks so much, I'm glad you like it

Great lights and color tone here (also a beautiful subject ). Maybe composition is a little neglected... it doesn't tell us so much. Anyway, not a bad photo. But I think it's like an experiment that show what you could do whit this potential.

Thank you
Yeah the composition is defintiely neglected - there wasn't much space to move around (it's a tiny cafè and I didn't want to disturb other people. It was also a pretty much unplanned photo - the light was so pretty at that window that I decided to take some photos quickly.
Thanks so much for your comment!

Oh, I understant. In fact, I've seen that in your gallery there are many well composed photos.
I too have a 50mm f/1.4 for my Nikon D50. That's a wonderful lens, but I use it rarely because it's not so versatile.

Thanks
Yeah my 50mm lens doesn't have autofocus, which is the only down side. It's also kinda weird not being able to zoom in or out, but I'm getting used to it.
Otherwise I love it.

Oh, so you have the old one. My 50mm have autofocus, but is the focal lenght that make me prefer to use my other lens: the Tamron 17-50. That's not a "monster", but is quite good.
I would use the 50mm for portraits... But in fact, I do portrait so rarely!
