Description Back in January ~Rozetta and I went down to the port to take photos. As well as digital & medium format, I took a roll of Fuji Velvia with me. Finally got it cross-processed last week, and this is one of the results.
This roll yielded some really unexpected colours - some shots are practically neon red, or yellow, or green. I've only ever gotten greeny/blue colours with cross-processed Velvia, so this set was a pleasant surprise.

Revueflex TTL SLR + Fuji Velvia 50 cross-processed = scan from print.

The colours in this image are completely unedited. I only use photoshop to remove dust.

Yes, I really like the colours here! It's an interesting mix - the cool blueness of the water, but the warm skintones of the model...

Thank you
Compared to the rest of the film, this shot is relatively muted..
Glad you like it!

You are welcome!
You right cross-processing always depend from the film used.
It's always random, before you get the image in your hand it's impossible to imagine the result!!!
That's what I love from analog films and process on them.

so how did you get these colours/?!

VeraAda In reply to MariaBestia [2010-04-10 16:40:32 +0000 UTC]

I used Fuji Velvia 50 ISO slide film (sometimes called dia-film), and instead of getting the film processed normally to make slides, I asked for it to be processed like negative film. This is called cross-processing, and normally it makes the photos very high in contrast, and the colours turn out very vibrant, and often very green or blue. For some reason, this time the colours were much crazier than usual
