And finally another GM picture. Took me some time. Actually I finished it some days ago, but didn't post it because I am sick and I've been busy finishing the stuff for my final exam (which is tomorrow).A tutorial will be posted soon, since many people asked for it in the poll.

The very first time I saw Thane was in a ME3 cutscene (the hospital one) before I played ME3 and ME2 (I was finishing the first one). My reaction was "ew... he's a bit scary... I could never romance an alien like him... big eyes... green... meh". But yeah, then I played the second game and I discovered a very awesome character! Little by little I got used to his look and now I think he's really a sexy alien

he looks soo welcoming, i would feel astonished at first if he woke up on my bed but then i would smile with a "ready for round two" kinda smile... sorry, pervy thinking aside, this looks awesome, the textures on the bed and the model, looks soo real, like i could just touch it

I really, really like the texture!
With this pose the piece got even more emotional impact than the Kaidan and James ones. I do not like Thane at all, but I kinda understand if the fangirls are going to go crazy about this one. Cause.. oh hell. He dies in ME3. And this picture... Idk. I think their inner Janes will start screaming and wanting to protect this drell.

Also, I would be eternally grateful for any beginner's tutorial you could provide about the technique you use to create your models.
I've been using XNALara for quite some time now but I've only recently tried to make my own models (especially a custom Femshep). The problem is that there is very little information available on how to do it from scratch and I've also noticed that there seems to be several methods to go about it. Do you use 3ds Max or Blender, or both?

The tutorial I mentioned is about the renders, not the models
Anyway I use both 3DS Max and blender for the XNALara models. A custom femshep is indeed pretty hard to make, because you have to retexture everything yourself. 3DS Max is the program I use more though. Blender is useful for meshmods, bone weight copies and other stuff.
