Description
I was inspired by a bunch of Pinterest photos and did this. Took me a bit to get right because Blender 2.8 decided to invert V's normals and it didn't even show it. I also had to turn off the water reflection because of Vergil, who's supposed to be V's reflection himself... more reflections would have killed the concept, but I can't say I'm 100% happy with the water surface.
Rendered in Blender Cycles.

Impressive, even in the thumbnail version already.
Since you've been talking about the water technicals a bit, how did you approach that part of the picture?
Just a water shader or something more complex?

Two side of the same coin, Vergil's character is much deeper than what the eyes meet at first.
That concept is quite nice and i don't know many characters who could fit it as well as Vergil.
The end result is pretty good nonetheless, was that a one time inspiration or will we see another in this style ?

I admit I have quite an obsession for this type of art, where the reflection portrays a different character. So who knows, I may do more like this in the future!
