I could have SWORN i commented on this one before.
I love Big O. It's like Batman if Batman had a giant semi-sentient robot instead of a latex and leather fetish. This pic is just dead-on and awesome. As much as I enjoy Big O's color-scheme (nice and muted, not garish and brightly colored), I almost agree with you about not coloring it. It's a very powerful B&W.
Now if we could just get him to step on Michael Bay...

So friggin' sweeeeet!!! I wanna draw one now. I love the shadows. I think it looks great without color but if you do color it make it some kind of metallic blue and silver color. Use cool color instead of warm. Man that pic is tight.

thanks, your too kind. It took so long to ink this pic, i would really prefer if someone who knew what they were doing would color it... case in point... what do you mean by using cool as opposed to warm colors? Is that a setting or are you referring to the colors themselves?

Not setting, I'm really referring to using cool colors. But a background of a demolished city and adding a few bruise marks on the mech would be very cool. I'm just getting use to inking. I'm used to going over my lines in my pics with pencil and leaving it at that.

im afraid i know nothing of color theory, though if you'd like feel free to color it to give me an example of cool colors. I know what you mean about getting used to inkin. I've been drawing forever but i only started inking about 5 years ago. It took me a while to get into the groove!

Well I'm no expert myself. I only know the difference between warm and cool colors. And my coloring skill leave much to be desired. I don't even have a photoshop program on my computer so it would be useless to even attempt it on paint.
