Said Ravandhin is very often likened to one of two animals: It's either a lion or a faithful golden retriever, depending on if we're talking ferocity colour scheme or loyalty. His current employer is *PetStudent 's Lady Shevarra Mantorande, and usually she's not too disappointed.But sometimes even the most well-trained hound does stupid and/or rash and foolhardy things, and sometimes they're just plain dumb. Bad dog!
I honestly don't know if the Swedish idiom - "skämmas som en hund" - has an English equivalent (lit. "to be ashamed, like a dog") but the deviation title refers to that, not to a certain Mötley Crüe song
It feels nice to draw something from start to finish in photoshop, and to do it quickly and not have it be just a simple portrait. Now I've given this as much time as it deserved; there are a lot of things I could've fixed and changed and so on, but I have other projects and if I get stuck on this with detail after detail I'll just end up hating it xP
Pure therapy from the beginning to the end.

And I love the map and letter and the pose and the expression and... mmm.... hair...(I am the only one who sees him take a brake from indulging in shame to ponder something along the lines of "Riiight, I'm HERE, stubborn sister is THERE, this give me approximately *time* to run for it and hope she gives up on the whole project"?)

He kind of wishes she did and/or hates himself a little right now xP Mostly because it SHOULD have been easy to say "Fuck, fever". But, then again... yeah, Said *sigh*.
He probably won't admit it to Shev (maybe to Saskia) but I'm pretty sure he really didn't understand how bad it was. And that -that- feels even worse than if he had just done it anyway.

Hihi, Saskia has discovered this running-fingers-throughness earlier, she's the one who usually tells him to sit still long enough for her to cut it.
And he doesn't need a new friend as much as he just needs to get over it and start thinking
The map is a quickly doodled something something probably depicting his long-lost homeland, and the letter is from his sister, whom he thought didn't have a clue where he went.
