A young Illidan Stormrage painting.
This is the first of two pictures I paint for the german WoW 2.4.3 server "Gladiation-WoW". Maybe there will be some wallpapers of it, maybe this will be part of the headliner of our Gladiation homepage.
I must say I'm really proud with this one. I can see some improvements on this, especially using different brushes.

I can understand her. Illidan is too .. dangerious. His mind and his personality is split up. On the one hand you have the ambitious man who fights for the ones he loves, and on the other hand you have the might-hungry dark person, who leaves all behind for his own reasons. But honestly, a man like Malfurion is not real. Every man and every woman should have his or her stains; The love of Malfurion and Tyrande is too idealistic. So I agree with you

Well, first of all thanks for the compliment 
"it kinda looks flat" .. hm, It depends on your picture. Try to use something like blur, it always helps to create some depth. Also lightning and colours have an influence, but there's no way to explain it correct. Just keep on trying and you'll notice soon that you will have success with your pics !
