hey gavin. i go to your school, and brian sent me your DA.
i don't know if you come on this thing anymore,
but your stuff is pretty incredible -
particularly the one i'm commenting right now.
congrats for being semi-famous, haha.
i wish my art was popular.

so many little details. must have taken ages. i like the fact that there are a large number of focal points in the pic, and everything shows something different

damn that's nice to look at so soft and calm. love everything except the dna strands: why are they broken?? looks really odd.

Plain awesome. The only thing that I can see immediately is the right double helix. It's split in the middle, and that's not so much a problem as a "why is it split" there type of thing. If it doesn't say something, it probably shouldn't be there. It's hard to tell if that was a mistake or intended, because of the same coloring and positions of the ends. Otherwise, incredible job.

this is so incredible. I saw this on my deviantwatch a long time ago but haven't had the time to give it a comment that it deserves.. it reminds me of dna. it makes me think of during transcription or translation when the strand of dna is broken and then the reaction occurs, which is what the burst of energy and shapes in the center means to me. I love the color..great blue. anyway, this is just spectacular and I'm glad it got so much attention. well done!

Superslick work here boys, the only thing i don't like is the section where two strands meet and they don't align...looks weird
The rest is tight though, especially the depth + lighting.

Very cliche with the DNA strands, but still very cool
I love it.

i am SPEECHLESS!!!!!! this is by far the most amazing thing i've seen....the base pairs of the B-DNA like structures....amazing.....i am a biochemistry major thus my awe.....the complexity of your figures really reflects the complexity of nucleic acid structures....i applaud your efforts and work....
I LOVE THIS!

Great picture! This is to you, and by you I mean all of you who make digital art! Keep up the good work! It's great that we can use our computer to cool things like this. I just hate when people sits in front of their computers "killing" people all day... Be creative!

I don't really like the dark stran to the right. It's just too much of a distraction from the rest of the image. I guess because of how very dark it is, it's the first thing my eyes were drawn to. But other than that, it's a really nice piece. It's the kind that you just stare at for a while. Far better than anything I could've done.
