wow.... one of the best spacescapes ive seen! one suggestion though, is that the side explosions maybe would look better with a little blur

nice work
though i think ill give you a little critique since you have encouraged it
The starfield is a little too dense, i know IRL space is like that but it does look cooler with a little less stars could i suggest using the contrast/brightness adjustments a little heavier, that way it eliminates all the really small dim stars that just look like a blur when you dont look closely.
another cool thing to do is give your lens flares colours by using the hue/saturation tool (ctrl-U) (tiny lens flares make cool stars sometimes )
with your planets, i dont know the methods you use but the edges are quite distinct, what i would suggest is making a second inner glow layer and setting the effect to multiply + make the glow colour black sort of like an inner shadow (ive never tried this myself, just thought of it )
Anyways, ill stop picking holes i hope my crit is useful! ^^ you have some cool stuff here

thank you so much!! I did it following a couple tutorials...
[link] this one for the flames (also edited)
[link] for the starfield (really edited)
For the uh... red part in it, I did... Render > Difference Clouds a couple of times, then rotated the image... then I colored them, and erased most of it. After erasing, I used the smudge tool to give it that whispy effect. I also used some of =sphereuk 's [link] tutorial for some of it.
[link] something like this tutorial too (really edited aswell)
Note, I have most of this memorized, so I just mess around with it and tweak it.
