Have you READ the vampire chronicles? The whole story is blasphemous. Armand is called "the angel with black wings", he's a damaged soul who's only light is in his religion, which ultimately betrays him as well. This cosplay is amazing and I think the crown fits perfectly with Armand's story.

A simple look at my icon or my gallery would answer that question. I have read the book, several times at that.
Being called a blackwinged angel or wearing the thorned crown (an item of torture) that was forced upon Jesus as a sign of deep disrespect on his way to Golgotha are two entirely different things.
I wasn't aggressive in my comment. I simply pointed out that I felt mocked in my religious beliefs and I still think that it isn't suiting to compare Armand/Amadeo in any way to Christ.
He suffered, yes. He suffered a lot and I cry every time I read the book. But still there are more appropriate ways of depicturing Armand's grief as to force the Arma Christi upon him.
Please accept this as my simple and honest oppinion. I wasn't disrespectful to the cosplayer. Right after I commented on this picture I scrolled through their gallery and commented positively on another picture, which I really liked. tanoverya.deviantart.com/art/O…
