Spoilery if you don't expect me to spoil my own characters before they appear in the comic. And if you don't, you are so crazy and I love you for having more faith in me.

Then I will crush it. But crushing with love.

A side character for Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name! that ended up being made once I decided to delve a little bit more into Doc's world. I felt like it needed some fleshing out (and I wanted to as well) and so Lamont came into being.

Wondered where all those bags of blood came from? Lamont.

Lamont is pretty mild mannered with sluggish mannerisms and a tendency to think too much before he reacts or responds, giving off the impression that he is dull witted. He is often smiling more than not, even when things aren't looking so well for him or his company. This may have to do with the fact that he has a manic laugh response to anything that frightens or threatens him, a coping mechanism that can seem horribly inappropriate in more dire situations.

That said, Lamont ends up talking or bartering his way out of dangerous situations, finding that he neither has the desire nor the power to fight with the supernatural. Instead, he will reap the benefits and try to remain on their 'good side'.

He does however know everyone in the city that IS of a supernatural persuasion, even if they are aware of it or not. That means Hanna, and pretty much everybody Hanna hangs out with.

Oh yeah, also Adelaide. :]

Now he can go sit with Abner and Ples in the 'spoilered comic characters' club and have cucumber sandwiches.
