Here's hoping people actually read this. I know it's huge, hahaha, but I thought it would be better to compile the first part into one big hunk instead of in pages.This was a test, more or less. It was to see what I could do in like...two days. It was a comic warm up practice, more or less.
In any case, it's in the Without Void universe but before everything goes down. It's Carol and his roomie Carter on some sort of road trip and having adventures along the way because everything BAD HAPPENS on road trips. You and I know. Mmmhmmm. We're in the loop. *nods sagely*
Anyway, the coloring is lazy but was intended to be a quick way to color so it's all flats really but hopefully it's fun to look at anyways.
Carol is so sensitive.

p.s. The simple coloring is fab, the colors are bright and interesting together, and the accents on the figures and the gradients on the BGs make it dynamic and fun. :]

Looking great! The colouring is simple but you make it really work. Expressions and posture are a great as always, and I still dig the way you do gore. Also your lettering is killer. Looking forward to more!

I actually like the colours. They work on a horror comic. At first I thought the other dude, Carter, was a touch too sensitive, but then I remembered those character sheets you did and it's nice you've got characters with this kind of depth.

Either way, this is really well done. Even the flat coloring really compliments the whole thing, thanks to the slight gradients and little bits of red.
