Here's hoping people actually read this. I know it's huge, hahaha, but I thought it would be better to compile the first part into one big hunk instead of in pages.This was a test, more or less. It was to see what I could do in like...two days. It was a comic warm up practice, more or less.
In any case, it's in the Without Void universe but before everything goes down. It's Carol and his roomie Carter on some sort of road trip and having adventures along the way because everything BAD HAPPENS on road trips. You and I know. Mmmhmmm. We're in the loop. *nods sagely*
Anyway, the coloring is lazy but was intended to be a quick way to color so it's all flats really but hopefully it's fun to look at anyways.
Carol is so sensitive.

Oh man, this is brilliant. All your characters feel so REAL, it's crazy. I love how the color scheme changes depending on where they are.
Small criticism - in the panel where Carter says "Ask me in a second..." I had to look at it a couple times to figure out what he was doing. At first glance I thought he was... peeing against the wall? It could just be me being silly, though. Everything else is awesome.

maybe he's just a creepy gay guy and not actually a werewolf. that guy in the bathroom could have died of natural causes, it's perfectly plausible. if they were girls they wouldn't be in this mess because girls know better than to stay at creepy ass motels in the middle of nowhere. girls and people who watch too many horror movies.

Okay yeah this is fairly awesome. My first thought was, "A Vert comic!" and then I saw Carter was in it and got doubly excited. Yay for Carter!
And despite "werewolves" being in the name and the fact that they're in a crappy hotel in the middle of the night, I totally did not see that dead body coming. Well, not quite that bloody anyway. I love both of their respective reactions to it.
