So this time I didn't forget, and neither did a lot of you! So have this quick doodle to celebrate a fictional character's fictional birthday! AWWWW.I don't know how he exploded that cupcake but don't you want one, too? (No.)
Hope you guys had a great holiday. I know I promised a strip but travelling most of the day today has taken more out of me than anticipated and I'm shooting more realistically for tomorrow, so hang tight till then! You know you can at least look forward to seeing Lamont's studly car. I'm sure he piles ladies in it. Actually I'm just sure it's full of coffee cups and boxes.

I love so many things about this - the outline of where Hanna's glasses were, the feel to the speech balloon like the word's being coughed out in a puff of smoke, the way that the explosion has been confined entirely to Hanna without a speck on {...}
Also, just so you know, I am freakishly excited about getting to see Lamont's car.

Hanna... you would. You just would. I bet Hanna was the kind of kid you can't leave unattended at the chemistry bench for even five seconds, because he would find some way to make something explode, or melt through the countertop, or shoot off into the corner of the room and hit a classmate on the head. I bet.
I think {...} has learned the futility of trying to stop Hanna from doing stupid things at ths point and just stays out of the blast zone.
