Happy New Year!What better way to start 2011 than with some excessive bromance? Awww yeah.
I intended this to be on New Year's Day but then it ended up being a bit of a MONSTER and took a lot longer. But hopefully my efforts are well worth it. This was done wholly with brush pens and copic markers (minus the text which is of course Webletterer from www.blambot.com just in case you were wondering). I found out I am REALLY slow with brush pen and copics, just for the record.
I hope you guys are having a great one, miss you much but hopefully this will make you forgive me for being a bit absent during the month of December! Hope to have a real strip up soon. You know I love you much.

What a great way to start the new year. Guhh, why is the zombie so god damn sweet? I want my own zombie pal. Their bromance is adorable. I didn't even realize at first that this was done traditionally. It looks great.

All those shades of grey would have driven me crazy, but it looks lovely! It has a real sort of dream-like quality, like an old memory...if that's a good way of explaining it.

I love the way you've watercolored (?) /shaded this in pretty black and white and yellow. Your faces and forms are getting ever subtler and smoother, which can be hard to see when they're all jam-packed with tones and tints and color and action. This comic reminds me of an arthouse movie. It rocks.

Really, really sweet. I rarely comment on front page work (not out of spite, just hate to overload the artist with messages and figure every one has already said it all) but I really thought this deserved a little something. It's unique, and really well planned. There is a lot of effort and thought put into this and I respect that quite a bit. Lovely ending as well, great work!
