Just in case you were confused, yes this is Doc Worth.No, this is not him recently. This is Doc Worth before he became a 'doctor' and really became who he is now. This is Doc in his early twenties. This is Doc when he didn't go by Doc and instead went by his real name which I'm not letting you know.
Hope you dig! Kind of a glorified doodle, I seem to be on a kick with them these days! I'm having fun exploring the characters a bit more, though!!

Anyways, again i love this, soo much. I love the excessive uses of the warm colors on the side outside the mirror and how it contrasts it enough to make the mirror image of young!Worth pop out a considerable amount! I also really love how you drew Worth here, he looks very much...YOUNGER, like a vast change from here and current. But still you can tell he's very much the same person! Also i gotta say, i SERIOUSLY need to figure how to get so confident with my ruler-less lines, because you totally kick ASS at it. SO HARD. All your backgrounds are SO WIN.

where did your style come from? who were you inspired by?

A few of my inspirations are Mike Krahulik, Mike Mignola, Doug TenNaple, and Hirschfeld. There's a lot more, but those are a few off the top of my head!
My style really came out of me being lazy. I sucked at details and delicacy even if it was something I wanted to achieve. So instead, I guess to spite my face, I went the completely opposite way and began to try to do things simpler and quicker.

And it's a good thing too. To be honest all those high detail "Marvel-esk" comic styles start to become an eyesore after awhile. Simple/quick styles like yours seem to have more flare and vibrancy, and are more...more...what's the word? robust!
