Trains used to be nice to look at and kinda magical in a way... then came the late 1970's and all design went to the crapper! Like most things!

A pic for IAmGungnir featuring his OC Zephyr and my Jersey. They're on a train 'spotting' tour, in search of classic trains from across the globe.
I'm honestly not really as passionate about trains as IAmGungnir , but i do love to see the classics and will always snap a photo and admire them if i'm lucky enough to see them. The Mallard being my train.
Jersey on the other hand loves all classic 'machines' from last century, be they cars, trains, planes, trucks and tanks, she loves them all up until the late 80's, when visual design was over looked in favor of manufacturing cost.
Also cheap nasty plastic kinda took over!

anyway, this commission was well timed, because coincidentally, lately i've had several people chatting with me about trains. So, i was more than happy to do a train pic.... >>; though granted i was lazy and didn't do a fancy steam train.
hey drawing and outlining all that 'crumple-damage' was bad enough on a boring box-train!
But yeah, the dialogue between Jersey and Zephyr is based on recent conversations too. Another 'based on a true story' pic! It counts!

anyway, i'm heading out for grub with mah bud. (When he gets his butt here >>; ).
next stop... ALL YOU CAN EAT ORIENTAL FOOD! WOO!
